Adult Classes
Just the desire to have fun, try something new and get a little messy.
Try-it Classes are just $65 + tax.
No experience necessary.
Clay Date
Join us for a special date night try-it class on the first Saturday of the month.
The couple that clays together, stays together!
Ready to jump in? Join us for an 8 week wheel class or a 6 week handbuilding class. Not only do our students get 2 hours of instruction per week, they gain access to our studio during our open studio hours (we are open 7 days a week!). Also included- 6 lbs of white stoneware, 6 lbs of brown stoneware clay, a dedicated shelf for works in progress, a Muddy Pig tote bag and a personal tool kit!
Adult 8 Week Classes are $429 + tax.
Multi-Week Classes
Registration for Multi-Week Classes will resume in the fall
Classes have only 8 spots each and tend to fill quickly. Not sure what class is for you? Give us a call!
Class Descriptions:
Beginner Wheel- Learn the basics of throwing, trimming and glazing mugs, plates, and vessels.
Intermediate Wheel- Push yourself even further to learn how to make vases, lidded jars and teapots.
Purposeful Pottery- Concentration will be on intentional throwing, making a set of cups, bowls, and plates all the same size.
Surface Decorating - Learn how to alter surfaces through carving, slip trailing, underglazes and more!
Throwing Big - Learn how to throw larger items starting with 3 lbs of clay and working up to 5 lbs.
Irregular Forms - Push the boundaries of wheel thrown pottery by making more advanced shapes.
“I Want to Make…” - In this class, you will work in collaboration with your instructor to come up with specific project ideas like wall hanging vases.
